The Ultimate Case for Bordeaux Lovers

Discover timeless elegance with our Fantastic Cru Bourgeois Wooden Box Case - a refined selection of distinguished wines, elegantly presented in a Wooden Box. Ideal for collectors, gifting, or elevating any occasion.

Crus Bourgeois wines have deep roots in Bordeaux history, originally favoured by the rising bourgeoisie and formally classified in 1932. Today, they’re re-evaluated annually under strict quality standards, showcasing the excellence of Médoc’s independent estates.

We love Cru Bourgeois for their authenticity, precision, and outstanding value - age-worthy reds that express true Bordeaux elegance.

    The case includes:

Château Laffitte Carcasset, Saint-Estephe, 2019 | Cru Bourgeois Supérieur

Aromas of black fruit, spices, leather, tobacco, gravel, menthol, and licorice unfold effortlessly in the glass. All the elements are so well balanced. The 2019 is a thing of great beauty!

It strikes a beautiful balance between power and elegance, maintaining a velvety, mellow texture that carries the ripeness of the fruit through a long, cohesive finish.

Clos La Bohème, Haut Medoc AOP, 2020  | Cru Bourgeois

Château Larose Perganson, Haut-Medoc, 2019 | Cru Bourgeois Superieur

A dark ruby red wine that expresses aromas of wild strawberries and redcurrant punctuated with subtle notes of menthol. Its voluptuous, enveloping texture is reminiscent of blends in which Merlot predominates. An effect achieved through Cabernet Sauvignons at full maturity associated with ripe, but not overripe, Merlots creating a sense of opulence and smoothness in the mouth. The structure is beautifully soft, caressing the mouth with perfectly integrated tannins that melt on the finish to leave centre stage to exquisite red fruit once more.
    • Blend of 52% Merlot, 48% Cabernet Sauvignon
    • Aged 14 months in French oak barriques - 50% of new
    • James Suckling |  92 Pts
    • Wine Enthusiast | 91 Pts
    • Bettane & Desseauve | Prix Plaisir : Gold Medal

Château Paveil de Luze, Margaux, 2019 | Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel

"A wine that punches above its weight is the 2019 Paveil de Luze, derived from holdings on the deep gravel soils of the plateau of Brane and containing some 80% Cabernet Sauvignon. Wafting from the glass with aromas of cherries, raspberries, loamy soil and rose petals, it's medium to full-bodied, lively and seamless, with refined, powdery tannins and a long, penetrating finish. This is well worth seeking out".
    -William Kelley, Wine Advocate

Rich, dark red in colour.  Intense aromas of forest & bramble fruits - ripe loganberry, blackberry and wild strawberry.  The palate is brimming with sweet fruits, balanced by vanilla oak, savoury leather & tobacco, mocha with fresh herbs in the finish.  Full bodied and voluptuous, mouth coating with deliciously silky, elegant tannins.  Harmony in a bottle.

    • Blend of 80 % Cabernet Sauvignon – 20 % Merlot
    • Aged 12 months in oak barrels
    • Wine Advocate |  92Pts
    • James Suckling | 92Pts
    • Jancis Robinson | MW 17.5
