STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

It not often you can credit a single person for putting a wine region on the map, but in Dr Konstantin Frank’s case you can. A Ukrainian émigré, he was the first to plant and test vines in the Finger Lakes region.The accolades and awards that have since followed are dizzying. The range of grapes in the portfolio reads like a whos who and this Riesling is consistently rated as one of the star attractions.
