Rich, fruity and spicy Côtes de Gascogne

This wine opens with an expressive nose of dark fruit grounded by earthy oak, leather, and a warm hint of vanilla. On the palate, it strikes a wonderful balance. It is medium-bodied and deeply fruit-forward, showcasing juicy blackberry and plum notes that are nicely accented by a touch of pepper and spice. The tannins are refined and silky, carrying the wine through to a smooth, elegant finish.

In the heart of Bas-Armagnac, the Perissé family carries on the tradition of a long line of winegrowers. Their Gascony wines draw their character from the richness of their sandy and "boulbène" (silica-clay) soils. The Côtes de Gascogne region of South-West France has a lot going for it. While usually flying under the radar of many wine drinkers due to its proximity to Bordeaux, it retains the ideal growing conditions as well as coming in more pocket-friendly than its more illustrious neighbour
