    Fresh & complex Maranges Premier Cru

    Deep red color with purple highlights. Its fruit-laden bouquet is of blackcurrant buds, and spiced or preserved red fruits. The mouth, fresh, and tinged with liquorice, lays down a meaty foundation for peppery flavours

    • Aged 14 months in French oak
    Cellaring:  Drinks well now through 2035
    Food Pairing:  Perfect with roasted rack of lamb, pan-seared duck breast with a plum reduction, or a savory wild mushroom tart. It also fits seamlessly alongside pan-fried veal chops, a classic beef carpaccio, or a selection of cheeses like Epoisses and aged Comté served with crusty sourdough bread. | 🌡️ Serve at around 12-14°C 

     

    STORY BEHIND THE WINE

    Nestled in the heart of Burgundy's wine region, between Puligny-Montrachet and Sampigny-lès-Maranges, Domaine Duchemin cultivates vines with passion across 12 hectares spread across around thirty plots. For several generations, Domaine Duchemin has perpetuated artisanal expertise passed down with meticulous care and humility. Their vineyard produces red (80%) and white (20%) wines, as well as a crémant, made exclusively from their own vineyards
