STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Domaine Cailhol Gautran has a long history with us here in the shop and we are delighted to be able to stock a range of their wines. They are representative of all that is great about the Minervois AOC. Family-owned and certified organic, they are known for making distinctively supple reds that generously reflect the terroir of this distinctive region. With a light touch of oak, ripe texture and soft tannins this is a fruity and succulent expression of the Languedoc at its peak.
*"A huge, inky extracted red with lots of oak and tannin texture. A dark brambly fruit nose is precise and well expressed, while the lush palate has silky fruits, spices, pepper, coffee and smoked tea. Very polished."
