The majority of the blend is fermented in stainless steel to emphasize the fruit profile, with a small portion of barrel-fermented wine added to enhance complexity and richness. The nose is fresh with aromas of honeysuckle and citrus fruit. This medium bodied Chardonnay has a bright acidity and creaminess on the palate. Ripe pear, lemon curd, and vanilla flavors lead to a clean and lively finish.

Established in 1973 by Cecil De Loach, they became one of the first wineries in the Russian River Valley area of Sonoma County. De Loach was purchased by Burgundian Jean-Claude Boisset in 2003. His son Jean-Charles Boisset saw the similarities of the Russian River Valley with his native Burgundy and the potential that the region held for producing fine Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. De Loach's emphasis is on high quality, small lot winemaking.
