    Highly-regarded, intense Pessac-Léognan

"This is deliciously ripe, with warm plum, fig and boysenberry reduction notes coursing through, inlaid liberally with melted black licorice, warm fruitcake and sweet tobacco accents. There's juicy energy buried as well, allowing everything to linger for a while on the finish. Rock solid."

    STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

Located in the heart of Léognan, Château Branon is a historic 18th-century estate with a remarkable winemaking pedigree - its wines were actually priced on par with a Fourth Growth back in 1865. The secret to its elegant, complex reds lies in a beautiful south-west exposure and diverse gravel and clay soils. Today, the Garcin family (the same team behind Château Haut-Bergey) guides the property, utilising strict organic and biodynamic farming to craft a truly precise and rare wine.
