A lovely fruity taste. Kept on drinking over several glasses.
heard Jean Smullen give glowing review on Moncrieff's Movies & Booze segment on Newstalk. She was spot on!
It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.

Buttery ripe with, mild toasted hazelnut, mediterranean lemon fruit and a fine vein of key lime acidity. Burgundian in character with a mild saline touch in the finish. This is mouthwateringly good, and very enjoyable as an aperitif, this is not to say its light by any means, but rather its impeccably balanced.
Food Pairing: Perfect as an aperitif
Bramito (Second wine of Cervaro della Sala) is produced from the vineyards surrounding the medieval castle at Castello della Sala, located in the Umbria region, not far from the Tuscan border, about 18 kilometers from the historic city of Orvieto. One variety that thrives in this terroir is Chardonnay. The vineyards are on soils rich in fossil deposits with veins of clay that give the wine minerality and elegance.
