Made from hand-picked, perfectly ripe grapes grown in the top Ungsteiner Herrenberg vineyard. Inspired by the world's great white wines, this Scheurebe is fermented in new oak barrels and subsequently delights with an attractive bouquet and excellent acidity structure - with extremely seductive fruit aromas, delicate roasted notes, and perfectly integrated freshness.

Cellaring: Perfect now, also can be kept for 8 years.

Its tropical and balanced style makes it a good match for dishes with creamy or acidic sauces, as well as mild or strong cheeses.  | 🌡️ Serve between 7-9°C

    STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Germany can consider itself lucky to now have a large number of uncompromisingly driven, highly qualified winemakers. Insiders will certainly know that this wasn't always the case. But the Pfeffingen winery has always held the flag high for quality winemaking in the Pfalz region. The Pfeffingen winery is one of the best and is located near Bad Dürkheim. The winery can look back on a proud 250-year history, and as such, it rightly belongs among the most established in the Pfalz. The young and dynamic couple, Doris and Jan Eymael, now run the family business. Under their leadership, the winery's reputation has soared even further. Well over half of their 17 hectares of vineyards are planted with Riesling, but they also cultivate Weißburgunder, Spätburgunder, and other varieties. Above all, they have a special passion for Scheurebe! For a long time, this grape variety was completely misunderstood, until it was able to celebrate its 100th anniversary last year.
