A Pinot Noir with a beautiful light color, with an expressive nose of strawberries, raspberries, sweet licorice, and a hint of toasted notes. On the palate, the wine is nicely balanced and soft, backed by good acidity and a distinct licorice kick that carries through to the finish.
"Alte Reben" is German for "old vines" and is a term used on wine labels to indicate that the wine was produced from notably old grapevines.
Run by oenologists Doris Eymael and her son Jan, this 250-year-old estate boasts one of the highest quality wines in the Pfalz.
