A refined nose with delicate notes of stone fruits. On the palate, a vibrant fruit-forward attack leads to a well-structured, full-bodied expression. The oak is elegantly integrated, adding depth and balance, while a bright, citrusy finish brings freshness and finesse. 

"It expresses all the freshness of its high altitude terroir through an aromatic complexity that borrows its aniseed notes and enveloping texture from the Grenache Blanc, its stone fruit (mirabelle,plum, nectarine) and its fatness in the mouth from the Roussanne and Marsanne, its citrus notes and its tension until the finish from the Vermentino and Terret. The oak is elegant and remarkably well conducted. A real treat!"

From the terroir of Cazelle offering clay-limestone soil at an altitude of 150 to 200 meters. 

Domaine Cailhol Gautran is nestled in the rolling countryside at the foothills of the Massif Central. The hamlet of Cailhol lies in a valley carved by the Cessière River, which flows into the Cesse, both cutting through the limestone Causse of the Haut Minervois.The estate’s vineyards extend within a 3-kilometer radius, thriving on a sun-drenched, south-facing limestone plateau at an altitude of 250 meters. Covering 55 hectares, these vineyards are situated on the estate’s finest terroirs, producing wines that reflect the character of this exceptional landscape.
