This is a rich, dark, and Velvety Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Full-bodied and concentrated, it exudes moreish flavours of baked plum, damson fruit, kirsch, and sweet spice.

Blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre
Age of the vines: 80-100 years old
Aged in French oak barrels and demi-muids for 12 to 18 months

STORY BEHIND THE WINE

The estate's plots of Châteauneuf-du-Pape are located partly between the city of Orange and the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape on alluvial terraces of rolled pebbles and red clay. The other part is situated south of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation on rolled pebbles and tawny sands.
