Vibrant & Fruity Organic Côtes du Rhône

The wine has a medium ruby color with violet reflections. Aromas of pepper, violet, red berries (cranberries, cherry, raspberry), and hints of garrigue, cinnamon, and dried herbs. The palate is structured and round, with young tannins and fresh, concentrated fruit. Flavours of black fruits (plum, blackberry), red cherry, and notes of white pepper, licorice, and violet. The finish is fruity, tangy, and well-balanced with firm tannins.

BEHIND THE WINE

Christian Voeux spent 24 years as the Maître de Chais (cellar master) at Château Mont-Redon in Châteauneuf du Pape. In 2008 Christian left the prestigious Mont-Redon to run Château La Nerthe, another highly respected producer in Châteauneuf du Pape. He is now applying his vast experience to his own boutique Domaine de l’Amauve vineyard in Séguret which he inherited from his parents.The estate is certified organic and comprises a patchwork of 11ha spread over 25 plots.
