STORY BEHIND THE LABEL
As the esteemed second label of Château Nénin, La Fugue de Nénin represents the modern evolution of a historic 19th-century estate that was revitalised following its acquisition by the Delon family in 1997. Through a major restructuring of the property, the Delons elevated Château Nénin to the top tier of the Pomerol appellation. This specific cuvée is sourced from an 18-hectare single vineyard, where the unique combination of clay, silica, and fine gravel soils produces a wine that captures the hallmark elegance and complexity of the estate's terroir in a more approachable style.
