    Blackberries, flowers, cherries, spice, smoke, licorice, and black raspberries get the bouquet going. The palate is fresh, forward, soft, generous and medium-bodied with layers of sweet, ripe, spicy red fruits and a nice bite of savoury-edged Cabernet in the polished finish.

Also, hard, aged cheeses like Comté, Cheddar, and Gouda are excellent choices. |  🌡️ Serve between 15 and 18°C  

     

    STORY BEHIND THE WINE

    Château Le Crock, a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux, has been owned by the Cuvelier family since 1903. Its 32-hectare vineyard, situated between Châteaux Cos d’Estournel and Montrose. The estate produces structured, fruit-driven wines with aging potential, crafted under the guidance of oenologist Isabelle Davin and consultant Michel Rolland
