Located in the Haut-Médoc appellation, Château Cambon La Pelouse is a key name in the region. Under the new classification, it holds the title of Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, a distinction that applies from the 2018 to the 2022 vintage. Today, the estate is owned by Treasury Wines Estates, a globally recognised group with a wealth of experience in vineyards across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Italy.
Ideally positioned on the edge of the Margaux appellation, Château Cambon La Pelouse is home to a stunning 65-hectare vineyard. The vines thrive in lean, sandy gravel soils dating back to the Quaternary period. These soils are particularly well-draining and retain heat efficiently, helping the grapes achieve optimal ripeness by harvest time.
