    Dale Gatcum - Dip WSET

    Dale Gatcum wine lecturer at Whelehans Wines

    Dale is a Wine & Spirit Education Trust Certified  Educator & Assessor who has been teaching WSET courses for over 25 years.
    Holder of the WSET Diploma and winner of the George O’Malley Tasting Trophy, (the holder of the highest mark in the blind tasting exam that year). He lectures in several wine schools in Ireland and the Baltics, his passion is for Organic and Biodynamic wines, where he has lectured in several Educational Institutes in the E.U.
    In his constant quest for knowledge, Dale is Ireland’s first Certified Rioja Educator and Ireland's first Certified Port Educator.
    When he is not lecturing, Dale works with family owned and operated organic wineries helping them with international exports, sales and marketing.

    Liam Campbell - Dip WSET

     Liam Campbell - Wine Lecturer at Whelehans Wines
    Liam Campbell has nearly 30 years’ experience of tutoring wine tastings with a knowledge supported by a WSET Diploma in Wine & Spirits and also a Diploma in Craft Beer & Cider.
    Certified by the WSET and the Cava Academy as an Educator, Liam’s delivery style is in an engaging and entertaining manner to deepen his audience’s understanding to enhance their enjoyment of wine and drinks. Liam has a distinguished wine writing career over 24 years.
    A member of the Circle of Wine Writers and currently, Wine & Drinks Editor of the hospitality industry’s trade magazine, Hotel and Restaurant Times.
    Previously, with the online www.TheTaste.ie 2016-2020, the Irish Independent 2012-2016, The Dubliner lifestyle magazine 2001-2012; Wine Columnist with Easy Food magazine, and previously, Irish Homes interior design magazine and Wine Ireland magazine.
    Liam has been a tasting judge for wines and spirits on international wine and drinks competitions for over 10 years: Concours Mondial de Bruxelles; International Taste Institute, Brussels; Michelangelo, South Africa and Bacchus, Madrid.
