This tightly structured wine has a powerful fruit core. It has plenty of citrus fruit flavours with well-balanced acidity. This wine is only beginning to evolve and show a hint of toasty bottle-aged complexity.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

This is the flagship Semillon from Tyrrells. It was first produced in 1963. This vintage comes entirely from the Short Flat vineyard, which was first planted in 1923. 2014 was one of the best vintages in recent times
