STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

This wine began with a meticulous hand-harvest, where grapes were collected in small crates to protect the fruit's integrity. To add layers of complexity, our winemakers used a mix of wild and cultured yeasts, incorporating 5 to 50% whole bunches during fermentation. The wine was aged in French oak barriques 15% new through the winter, allowed to undergo a natural malolactic fermentation as the cellar warmed in the spring. Bottled unfined to preserve its pure character, this vintage was then tucked away for 18 months of bottle aging, ensuring it reached you at its absolute peak of expression upon its release in October 2023.
