Ample and Expressive Organic White Côtes de Provence

Pale and golden colour, clear and limpid. On the nose, a first note of frangipane opens on candied apricot as it develops in the glass. Ample palate and expressive in attack. It develops notes of white fruits and roasted almond.

• Fermentation in 300 litre French oak barrels with light and medium toasting followed by  a ten-month maturation on the lees for adding texture and complexity.

BEHIND THE WINE

100% Rolle. It is a premium variety with irregular maturity and requires harvesting in two passes. Known in Italy as ''Vermentino'', it is mainly used in Bellet and Corsica.

Chateau Des Sarrins is halfway between the foothills of The Alps and The Mediterranean, in a small village called Saint Antonin du Var. In 1995, the Paillard family bought the estate and have been working to produce outstanding wines using their extensive knowledge.
