STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
The Babich family has been making wine in New Zealand since 1916. This gives them the distinction of being New Zealand’s most experienced family-owned winery. Commercial wine-growing in the region really only got going in the 70s so this is a family with historic roots. They are now one of New Zealand’s largest producers as well as being one of the most awarded. Owning various sites across some of New Zealand’s most important wine regions, they are trendsetters in terms of defining the classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc profile we all know and love.
