STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Il Feuduccio Winery was founded by Gaetano Lamaletto in 1995 in the province of Chieti in the region of Abruzzi. Today Il Feuduccio is proudly run by the founders’ son, Camillo Lamaletto, and his son Gaetano. Lamaletto bought a superb hillside site at the foot of Mount Maiella and with a great eye for detail planted 54 acres of different clones of vines to match the various soil types using only native varieties like Montepulciano and Pecorino. He then set about building a unique winery of five floors, entirely underground.
