Second largest AOC in Provence, Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence is greatly affected by the famous Mistral winds. Its vineyards, dating back to around 600 BC, were highly valued by the Royal Courts of Europe in the 15th century.
Nowadays, Rosé is the dominant wine, typically made from a blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Syrah, and Counoise. The region also grows Cabernet Sauvignon.

I spent years looking for a specific wine from south Africa before finishing it in Whelehans, we placed our order on a Sunday and had the wine in our hands by Wednesday, excellent fast service even with a personal christmas note, such a lovely gesture. Will definitely be shopping here again.
