STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Château Crabitey is emblematic of the current renaissance occurring in Graves. Punchy and aromatic on the nose, with notes of fresh cut grass, gooseberry and greengage, there’s a dollop of wax and honey here to.
The palate is lively & whistle clean, with lean green citrus fruits and refreshing acidity. This is a white that sits very comfortably alongside more fashionable whites such as Sancerre Blanc or New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon.
“Crabitey 2019 Blanc has compelling scents of white peaches, grapefruit and passion fruit with hints of pineapple tart and coriander seed. The medium-bodied palate has a seriously racy line of freshness cutting through the intense citrus and tropical fruit layers, finishing chalky.”
