STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Trimbach have been making wine in Alsace since 1626. The Trimbach’s have a purist vision. For over three centuries and across 13 generations, the family has produced wines that are structured, long-lived, fruity, elegant and balanced: the celebrated Trimbach style. The family personally looks after each operation, from planting to harvests and from vinification to bottling.
- 90 Points Decanter Magazine "The Trimbach family has been making wines in Alsace since 1626. This Riesling has limey aromas with a hint of floral and rubber notes. Tight, dry lime and apple palate, with a pithy character and a touch of exotic fruits. Fresh finish."
This is a classic dry Riesling, with a rich, floral nose backed up by incredible tension. It is bone dry but full of concentrated, racy fruit. You could enjoy it now but there is no hurry whatsoever to drink it.
