Classic Rosé Champagne from it's creative home

Medium to fully bodied and looking pretty and vibrant in pomegranate pink with orange reflections. This classic Rosé has an intense aromatic profile with red berries, cherries, tangerine, blood orange and a hint of rose. It develops more exotic notes with time in the glass.
The attack is full and distinct, gliding across the palate with flavours of strawberries and cream, yellow peach, pink grapefruit and freshly baked bread. All complimented with zesty acids, a creamy mousse and a slightly sweet, spicy finish.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

While we have all heard of Dom Perignon, Dom Ruinart is slightly less well known. Through no fault of his own, born 50 years after his illustrious predecessor, he was just as much of a visionary and innovator in the history of sparkling wine.
Upon his death in 1709, he left many books containing his writings to his nephew Nicolas Ruinart and from humble beginnings Maison Ruinart was founded.
One of things that sets House Ruinart apart is that it was the very first to focus on the production of Rosé Champagne and its consistently excellent quality and finesse has been a hallmark.
The house now produces approximately 2 million bottles a year and is currently owned by luxury brand superpower LVMH who also own Krug and Veuve Clicquot amongst others.
