To unlock the grape's true, often-overlooked potential, the Kurtatsch growers strictly reduce their yields and give these vines obsessive attention year-round.

The magic really happens in the vineyard's specific location: the high-altitude hamlet of Penon. Sitting between 450 and 700 meters above sea level on porous dolomite rock, the vines are forced to work hard. This extreme alpine elevation allows for a wonderfully long ripening period, building intense concentration and that signature mineral crunch without losing freshness. It’s a brilliant, terroir-driven showcase of exactly what Pinot Grigio can become when grown in the absolute perfect spot.
