A lovely fruity taste. Kept on drinking over several glasses.
heard Jean Smullen give glowing review on Moncrieff's Movies & Booze segment on Newstalk. She was spot on!
It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.

Medium bodied and ripe-tasting Gamay St-Romain with red fruit flavours of raspberry and dark red cherry. Delightful hints of violet and pepper add complextity. Gamay St-Romain in the Loire, Auvergne, is grown on granite, similar soils to those found in Beaujolais cru of Brouilly.
32 hectares of Gamay and 2 hectares of Viognier are planted on granite soils. One new vineyard of 2 hectares of Chenin Blanc, planted in 2018, offers a new white wine. Domaine Sérol and Michel Troisgros share ownership of Les Blondins, a two-hectare vineyard of Gamay St-Romain. Harvest is carried out by hand. Extreme rigor in the cellar allows the winemaking process to remain as natural as possible.
