Fruity, Fresh & Silky Bourgogne Red from an unique terroir

The wine has aromas of brambly red fruits complemented by notes of flinty wet stone and subtle hints of peppery spice and woodsmoke. Medium-bodied, with a harmonious balance of cherries, raspberries, and refreshing acidity. Mineral undertones, a nod to the Kimmeridgian soils, add depth, while fine-grained tannins provide structure and a silky texture.

STORY BEHIND THE WINE

The family-run estate in Chablis, Burgundy is led by brothers Arnaud and David Lavantureux and is one of the most respected domaines in Chablis. The vineyards for this wine are situated in the Épineuil appellation, crafted from Pinot Noir vines planted between 1969 and 1978 sharing the prized Kimmeridgian marl soils that define the Chablis region. This unique terroir imparts a bright, mineral backbone to the wine, enhancing its elegance and complexity.
