In the glass, Ravenswood Zinfandel shimmers in a deep cherry red with purple reflections. Mature plums and fresh forest strawberries dominate the bouquet. On the palate, this American red wine is very juicy with a full-bodied and intense body. The intense fruit fullness is filled with sweetly ripened berries and warm spice. The tannin is powerful, well structured and harmonizes perfectly with the fine acidity. The finale comes with a pleasant length.
Food Pairing: This zinfandel would go perfectly with grilled steaks with pepper sauce, fried liver with onions on mashed potatoes, pasta in spicy minced meat sauce or simply solo.
