Domaine du Clos Roussely

Dating back to the 1700s as a dependency of the local château, Clos Roussely found its modern soul when Vincent Roussely took the reins in 2001. Based in the village of Angé overlooking the Cher river, Vincent has spent the last two decades breathing new life into these historic vines, earning organic certification in 2007. The setup here is pure Loire magic: 80-year-old vines rooted in flinty clay-limestone soils, with the wines vinified in ancient tuffeau caves carved directly beneath the vineyard. By ditching chemicals and bringing horses back to plow the oldest parcels, Vincent captures a remarkably precise, mineral expression of Sauvignon Blanc, Côt, and Cabernet Franc. We are incredibly proud to import the domaine exclusively and directly, bringing these soulful, cave-aged wines straight to our collection.
