This estate is one of the leading houses in the Alentejano region of Southern Portugal. The four varietals used in the blend; Alvarinho, Antao Vaz, Arinto & Viognier are all hand-harvested. The blend is vinified in stainless steel, and subsequently transferred to new oak barrels. For six months the wine is aged and left in contact with lees (dead yeast cells)
Yet to be reviewed by the international wine press, however if you have a Grá for white Burgundy, then this might be something youd appreciate. Genreous fruit, beautifully textured and very good depth and impressive length of finish.
Aged for six months in New Oak, 40% Antão Vaz, 30% Arinto, 20% Alvarinho and 10% Viognier.
