Well-Regarded Barolo with intense aromas

Intense ruby red color with bright and lively reflections, softened by light traces of violet. It has an intense, ethereal aroma, with a bitterish flavour of liquorice, candied roses and tar. Warm and spicy aromas.

Food Pairing: Lamb Tagine, braised beef short ribs or truffle-infused risotto, as well as aged cheeses. 

STORY BEHIND THE WINE

This beautiful family estate founded in 1864 and located in the heart of the Barolo wine , now run by Claudio Fenocchio and his young family. Long post-fermentation times counter-intuitively leading to smoother more elegant and accessible wines. Although not yet certified as organic, the winery are participating in the European project that encourages sustainable agriculture and they follow agricultural practices passed down through generations.
