While originally a native of France, the Tannat grape is now to Uruguay what Malbec is to Argentina. With a profile that is big and bold as well as incredibly expressive of terroir, it’s a grape that’s very much on the rise. Since bursting onto the scene in 2018 with their incredible state-of-the-art winery (search it out if you haven't already), Bodega Garzon are considered one of its primary exponents both in South America and beyond.
