A lovely fruity taste. Kept on drinking over several glasses.
heard Jean Smullen give glowing review on Moncrieff's Movies & Booze segment on Newstalk. She was spot on!
It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.

This medium bodied wine has elegance, finesse and freshness that is characteristic of Burgundy wines with aromas of citrus fruit , peaches, and apricots. The origin of the word ‘Crays’ comes from the celtic term ‘cracos’ meaning ‘stony hill’ and it is from this chalky terrior that the this wine derives a delightful mineral finish.
Founded in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin , this Burgundian winery now is led by his four great-grandchidren Philippe, Véronique, Laurent, and Frédéric. Shortly after Philippe taking on his leadership role, deeply concerned about environmental issues ,he made the decision to steer the estate's practices towards virtuous viticulture, organic and biodynamic farming whilst remaining committed to the continued production of wines of the highest quality.
