A lovely fruity taste. Kept on drinking over several glasses.

It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.
Gewürztraminer is an aromatic wine grape variety, with a pink to red skin colour, used in white wines, and which performs best in cooler climates. The varietal has high natural sugar and the wines are usually off-dry.
On the nose, Gewürztraminer has a distinctive lychee and rose aroma. On the palate it tends to be full bodied, sometimes viscous and oily, and can have higher levels of alcohol, as it ripens quickly. The acidity levels range from moderate to low, but the best examples always taste fresh and balanced. Nowadays, the best examples are grown in Austria, France, USA and Germany.
Depending on the style, wines may be dry all the way to sweet. Gewürztraminer pairs well with traditional character cheeses such as Munster or blue cheeses such as Gorgonzola, Roquefort or Stilton. AlsoMiddle Eastern and Moroccan dishes, which often incorporate nuts, dried fruits, and roasted meats, pair wonderfully with Gewürztraminer wine!
