A lovely fruity taste. Kept on drinking over several glasses.

It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.
Chenin Blanc, a grape variety native to the Loire Valley in France, also thrives in Stellenbosch, South Africa, where it produces high-quality wines.
As a white grape, Chenin Blanc exhibits a remarkable diversity of flavours, largely influenced by winemaking techniques. These wines can span the spectrum from bone dry to luxuriously sweet, with textures ranging from light-bodied to rich and creamy.
On the nose, Chenin Blanc has a distinctive quince and apple, or apple skin aroma. Depending on if the grapes are picked later in the season, or even if they undergo Noble Rot then you can expect to find ripe pineapple, orange peel, honey and dried chamomile. On the palate it delivers high levels of zingy acidity.
Thanks to Chenin Blanc’s great acidity and flavours, you’ll find it pairs well with foods that have a sweet and sour element. Asian cuisine or pork belly with apples paired with a richer and sweeter style Chenin Blanc will blow your mind.
Oaked versions are the perfect substitute for Chardonnay and work really well with roast chicken or turkey dinners. Sparkling Chenin blancs such as Cremant de Loire are the perfect aperitif and that fresh acidiry pairs well with salted nuts and crisps!
Very classic for chill out days
