Light in body, spritzy and distinctly Grüner. Opens with lovely aromas of apple blossom and freshly cut grass. A mix of citrus and stone fruit on the palate with lime, gooseberry and clementine alongside the classic Grüner white pepper notes. Rounded off with a zesty and mouth-watering finish

Franz Turk is regularly hailed as one of Austria’s top winemakers and even went so far as to win the IWSC trophy for world’s best Grüner in 2015 . This 'Der Leichte' (the light one) is a fresh and youthful introduction to this outstanding variety and is the ideal apéritif to any meal.
