STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
The Lopez de Heredia bodega in Haro is the oldest in the area, developed in 1877. The family continue to cultivate the vineyards and make their wines following the techniques established 140 years ago. They have made a conscious decision not to use modern techniques in their wine-making.
Vintage rated as Very Good by the DOC Rioja Board. Clear and bright ruby. Fresh and slight aroma to licorice with consistent texture and persistent aroma on the nose. The palate is smooth, fresh and persistent.
