STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Bodegas Terras Gauda was founded in the O Rosal Valley, within the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin, with initial production of 37,000 bottles in the 1990 vintage. Success has meant expansion to 160 ha and selling about 1.5m bottles.
2020 was a warmer than average vintage so the wine is a little more full bodied than usual but thanks to Caino Blanco’s ability to retain acidity and the Loureiro being grown at higher altitude the wine’s acidity was still refreshing.
