STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Tenuta Giorgio was founded in 1982 by Guido Folonari and is located in the south-eastern part of Montalcino. The vines cover 24 hectares with a further 26 hectares of olive groves. New owners, ColleMassari, have invested heavily in the vineyard and winery, and it shows in their wines. Read more.
Ripe, inviting aromas of strawberry, leather and cedarwood. Elegant and finessed palate with subtle notes of truffle below juicy figs. Fine, delicate tannins give a complex structure. A classic Brunello, drinking now to 2030.
