STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
This is the second wine of Château Léoville Barton, made from young vines and plots that have not reached the high standard of the Grand Vin. The Barton family have been in Bordeaux for almost 200 years. Hugh Barton, grandson of Thomas from Ireland, bought 50 ha of vines in 1826.
A rich, bright wine with opulent aromas of spice, pepper and dark berry fruit. Excellent tannic structure marry with delicate notes of vanilla and cherry. A delicious introduction to the wines of Château Léoville Barton.
