Why Buy Me
Chateau d'Angludet is one of the oldest Bordeaux wine estates, dating back to 1150 AD. The name "d'Angludet" means angle of the high land. The La Reserve is the second wine of Chateau d'Angludet, made using grapes sourced from younger vines on the estate, when these said vines reach a sufficent level of maturity, their fruit is then used to make the 1st wine. As a second wine , the La Reserve offers great value and a viable introduction to the wines of Margaux.
An expressive nose with distinctive, profound blackberry aromas and spicy notes typical of Petit Verdot. Combined with these are toasty, subtly oaky notes that gradually emerge on swirling. Creamy roundness is the predominating impression on the palate, with tannins and silky, delicate fruit that reflect the quality of this terroir. The finish is long-lasting and intensely aromatic. A harmonious and elegant balance that reflects an exceptional vintage.
