Irish summer officially starts when you open your first bottle of Provencal Rose. Our love affair with the wine has turned into a full blown relationship in recent years and we have producers like Emmanuelle Baude to thank for that. With a combined commitment to organic farming and traditional farming methods, vintage after vintage has been lauded and awarded by her peers. Here is a wine to give your imagination a holiday in the lavender-tinged idyll that is Provence.
Beautiful rose petal and sweet grass aromas with strawberry notes. A soft, clean palate with flavours of lime, grapefruit, watermelon and a hint of apricot. All wrapped in a distinct, mouth-watering minerality.

Somewhat overshadowed by it’s near neighbour Priorat, the Penedès appellation is continuing to make a name for itself. This is thanks in large part to a new generation of winemakers who wish to fully realise the potential of the region’s indigenous grapes. The philosophy at Mont Rubí is one of traditional and sustainable viticulture. While Garnacha will be familiar to many, Xarel-lo and Sumoll are less so. Sumoll was on the verge of extinction until the producers at MontRubí decided to save it. They are now considered as its supreme exponents.
Brilliantly pink-salmon with fine bubbles. A refined and elegant nose of ripe cherry, peaches and spice. The palate is full-bodied with flavours of raspberry, pomegranate, warm brioche wrapped in a light and airy mousse.

The method used to create a Loire Crémant is essentially Champagne in everything but name and price. The historic house of Bouvet-Ladubay is recognised as the standard-bearers of sparkling wine from the region. It is also one of the most interesting to visit with an onsite contemporary art gallery, theatre and UNESCO-protected cellars. We are proud to stock a number of their offerings in the store. No region does Cabernet Franc better than the Loire and no one does sparkling wine here better than Bouvet-Ladubay.
This vintage appeared over 25 years ago when Jean-Etienne and François Matton wanted to bring a signature wine to a wider audience of Provence rosé lovers with the perfect pairing of exciting aromas and light flavour. The idea is to give drinkers a joyful experience and showcase the Provence terroirs. The bottle’s design was updated in 2020.
Shimmering pink with crisp aromas that pack a punch with yellow grapefruit, whitecurrant, blood orange and fresh berries such as raspberry. It’s just as crisp, strong and clean on the palate with a lovely salty and zingy aftertaste. This is a vibrant wine that packs a punch.

It’s safe to say that Provence is the spiritual home of our favourite summer tipple. But what makes Provençal-style Rosé so special? In the case of Domaines Ott’s Clos Mireille it could be the proximity to the sea. Ideally located within sight of the Mediterranean, this favourable location imbues a distinctly saline quality to this wine that is the envy of many. Run by the prestigious Champagne House of Louis Roederer since 2004, this winery produces prestigious, top-tier Rosé. Youve may have tried Rosé before, but not one quite like this.
A beautiful salmon pink coloured wine which brings one straight to Provence. Beautiful aromas of spring flowers and melon. A well-balanced wine balancing freshness and complexity. It is medium-bodied with a zesty long finish.
