Chateau Musar was founded in 1930 by Gaston Hochar. It is still owned and run by younger generations. The vineyards are at a high altitude and benefit from gravelly soils which encourage the production of high-quality grapes.
Aromas are dominated by pear, lemongrass and herby aromas. Quite a waxy feel on the palate with eucalyptus and zingy lemony acidity.
