Domaine du Colombier Chablis 2018
The Domaine du Colombier has been a family property since 1887. They specialise exclusively in Chardonnay. Their wines are produced respecting traditional Burgundian methods alongside modern techniques. Unquestionably a classic Chablis. Crisp, flinty with a honeyed finish. Excellent with seafood or Burgundian escargots (if you can find them!!) Alc: 12.5%

La Scolca White Label-Etichetta Bianca 2020
Giorgio Soldati has created an extraordinary set of wines that have brought huge fame to the “Gavi” region and to the Cortese grape. This white label is La Scolca's most traditional Gavi and is vinified from grapes of exuberant young vineyards located in the heart of Rovereto of Gavi, a place known as the “Gran Crù of Gavi. This ‘Great White wine has become a classic on the Italian wine scene, produced in a complete accord which is now a century-old tradition, represent the true essence of Gavi wine. A true glimpse at la dolce vitae. Alc: 12%

Teruzzi & Puthod 'Terre di Tufi' Bianco 2017
The Teruzzi estate in San Gimignano stands heads and shoulders above the rest. This pioneering producer helped to usher this region’s historic Vernaccia di San Gimignano wines into modern times, and today is the indisputable benchmark against which all other Vernaccia wines are judged. A persistent fragrance with excellent complexity. Well-balanced fruit flavours of melon and pear blend with lightly toasted wood notes. Fresh and zingy with a long finish. A remarkable wine. Alc: 12.5%

Waterford Sauvignon Blanc 2019
A restrained style of Sauvignon, with plenty of green apple flavours and slate which is typical of the region. Finely textured palate with soft fruit and a deceptively long finish. Alc: 12.5% 

Bouvet-Ladubay Saumur Blanc 'La Nompareille' 2016
Since its foundation in 1851, Bouvet-Ladubay has been a true historical monument to the Loire Valley wines. If any wine was to be described as alluring this oaked Chenin Blanc is worthy of this descript. The nose has wonderful aromas of white flower and quince notes, melon and lime with a delicate minerality expressing Saumur terroir. The oak hardly detectable on the nose lends wonderful texture to the wine. Exhilarating, lively and youthful this wine has ageing capability of at least a further 5-7 years. Alc: 11.5%

Domaine Guerrin & Fils Saint-Veran La Cote Dorée 2018
Whelehans Wines have been importing Domaine Guerrins wines exclusively for a number of years, with great success. Their wines are of excellent standard. Exhibiting beautifull balance/tension between rich Maconnaise golden fruit and granite infused stony mineral restraint. 90/100 Martin Moran, The Sunday Times, 11/04/21
