The vineyards of Fleurie are located on a granitic soil. They are east/south- east oriented. The local wind there always helps the grapes mature regularly. The Poncereau vineyards are situated on the northern and western outskirts of the Fleurie village. The winemaking process includes a semi-carbonic maceration, a technique common in the region, along with regular pumping over of the cap.
