STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

Santenay is the furthest south appellation in Côte de Beaune. The vineyards cover 328 ha, 275 of which are red grapes, from a single parcel called "The Prarons". This yields softer, fleshy wines - the 2020 vintage is unique. Production conditions were tough, yet it was a historically early year - hot, sunny weather ensured the grapes were healthy on the vines.
