La Chablisienne Grande Cuvée has a pale, limpid, brilliant gold colour. It has a pallet of delicately spiced white fruits. Fresh and elegant in the mouth with fine mineral tension balanced by a lovely « oakiness ». Delicious, long finish.
Food Pairing: Great food pairing with this Chablis Premier Cru could be simply grilled fish with butter and parsley, goats cheeses or cold poached salmon with mayonnaise.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
The Chablis vineyards are some of the oldest in France. Over many years, the exceptional reputation of the white wines, produced from Chardonnay grapes, has spread to all four corners of the world. The unique character of La Chablisienne Grande Cuvée originates in the predominantly Kimmeridgian soil where is found sediment composed of large quantities of fossilised oysters called exogyra virgula. La Chablisienne, since 1923, ensures that its wines reflect this very special terroir.
