Light and tropical Sauvignon Blanc
Aromatic and fruity, this has grassy floral notes of elderflowers, chamomile and fresh straw. On the palate, subtle gooseberry, tomato leaf, lemon and lime notes are wrapped in expressive passionfruit overtones. There’s a wet stone minerality along with the typical Sauvignon Blanc acidity and a crisp finish.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
One of the reasons the Alto Adige region is so popular with white wine enthusiasts is due to the temperature difference between night and day. This makes ideal growing conditions for wines such as this Sauvignon Blanc. In addition to this, the producers here (Kellerei Kurtatsch) own a number of different sites across multiple, distinct terrains. This results in a style of Sauvignon Blanc here that can be said to be more New World than Old. All from a region that is distinctly European.
